Established in 2009, Pony Tail Acres offers English riding lessons for all levels of equestrians, from pleasure riders to advanced competitors, both children and adults. Our riding program focuses primarily on Eventing, Dressage, and Jumper training. We have group or private riding lessons can be scheduled at your convenience. During the year, we offer a Pony Club meetings both at our farm and off property. We are a participating Riding Center in the United States Pony Club (see USPC Riding Center Tab).
Our Riding Academy is what we like to consider a “Total Rider” program. The rider not only learns how to ride, but how to care for their horse and equipment. Each riding lesson geared to each rider’s individual needs. As the student progresses in the program they will achieve different levels of certification, which will allow them to add more benefits or perks to their Riding Academy experience. During horse management lessons, students learn the ins and outs of caring for a horse, from safety to feeding to barn and pasture management, as well as travel safety and the importance of good record keeping. Our goal is that students who ride with us are knowle

dgeable horse men and women that can be assets to the horse industry and the overall community.
The SafeSport Certified instructors at our facility carefully pick our lesson horses and match each student to the best suited horse. We pride
ourselves in providing safe and personable mounts for our riders.
Our program allows for students to show off their abilities through attending horse shows or Pony Club Rallies. The farm attends many shows throughout the year, as well as hosts clinics with outside instructors.
Please inquire about availability if you would like to take lessons on your own horse (negative coggins on site required).
